Police Officer

The West Columbia Police Department seeks qualified applicants for the position of Police Officer. Primary duties include enforcement of state and local laws relating to public safety and other police officer duties. Applicants must be 21 years old, high school graduate, good credit history, excellent driving record, and be of good character. Salary Range $29,918.80 - $41,886.75. The City provides take home vehicle for officers living in proximity to the city.

Staff Accountant

The City of West Columbia is seeking a degreed accountant with 2-5 years experience, to include governmental accounting. CPA candidate preferred. Should be knowledgeable with GAAP and GASB and be familiar with fund accounting. Qualifications to include proficiency in utilizing accounting software, Excel and Word. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and be team oriented. We offer a competitive salary based on qualifications.

CDL Driver

The City of West Columbia has immediate opening for a CDL driver in the Sanitation Department. Experience required with front-load and/or rear/load garbage collection vehicles. Must possess a valid CDL driver's license with a good driving record. Starting salary $24,328.39 to 27,124.66 annually depending on qualifications.
