Captain Ronald Fair has served the citizens of West Columbia since 2005. He oversees the Patrol Division and the Community Action Team. Additionally, Captain Fair oversees the Mobile Field Force, Special Operations Response Team (SORT), and Crisis Negotiator Team. The Patrol Division is split into four patrol shifts, each headed up by a Sergeant and Corporal over several patrol officers. These shifts oversee all civil, criminal, routine, and emergency calls for service for the entire city of West Columbia on a twenty-four-hour basis.
